MATC students enjoy an active, diverse campus environment offering a wide variety of opportunities for involvement in Student Life.

Just a few Student Life opportunities are:

• MATC Stormer Athletic Teams.  The teams are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association, the Wisconsin Junior College Athletic Association and the Wisconsin Technical College conference.  Stormer teams have won numerous state conference championships, with individual athletes earning state and regional honors.

• Students can choose from more than 40 Student Organizations to join.  They include professional, multicultural, social and student government organizations.

• Student Government, including the MATC Student Senate, is your voice to the administration and district legislators.

• You're invited to get invloved with MATC's award-winning Student Publications.  The MATC Times newspaper has earned awards identifying it as one of the nation's very best two-year college newspapers.  The English Department sponsors an annual literary magazine, The Phoenix, showcasing student fiction, essays, poetry, and photography.

• Two Honor Societies provide valuable experiences for students.  Those who meet the criteria are eligible to be part of these prestigious, nationally recognized organizations.
