"Prepare for the Job Fair"
Attending a job fair requires some advanced preparation. Come learn how to prepare, what to research, elevator pitch, dress, follow up and tips.
"Create your LinkedIn Profile"
Learn the steps to create a LinkedIn profile. Students will logon to a computer and start to create their own LinkedIn profile. They will also discover LinkedIn strategies to assist in their job search.
"How to be a Rock Star Employee at your new Job"
We talk a lot about how to get a job, but employers are having a difficult time keeping new employees. Come learn not only how to keep the job you land, but how to excel!
Resume Reviews/Mock Interviews:
Students sign up for an individual resume review (15-30min)
Students sign up for a mock interview tailored to their major (30 min)
No need to register to attend a job fair- but please…do come prepared!
"Jobs for Students"
Employers are asked to bring jobs good for students. These are positions that do not require a lot of experience or specialized training.
Downtown Milwaukee Campus: September 16th - 2nd Floor Student Center - 11a.m-1p.m.
West Allis Campus: September 17th - Room 117 - 11a.m-1p.m.
Mequon Campus: September 23rd - Main Entrance Atrium - 11a.m.-1p.m.
"Ride On" Job Fair & Careers in Energy
A collaborative event with the city of Oak Creek. Employment opportunities for the candidate with their own transportation and for those who rely on public transportation to get to work. WE Energies to highlight Careers in Energy.
Oak Creek Campus: October 13th - 1st & 2nd floor Atrium - 10a.m.-1p.m.
Downtown Milwaukee Campus
Open Monday-Thursday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
