Coursework in the Tourism and Travel Management associate degree program focuses on developing competencies in sales and customer service, computer reservation systems, marketing, human relations and supervision. Acquiring the degree may boost your advancement to supervisory and management positions. Career opportunities are plentiful - tourism/hospitality is the world's largest industry. Job titles include travel director or consultant, meeting planner, customer service representative, convention/visitors bureau director, tourism marketer, travel agency operator, and cruise/tour specialists.
