Program Goals
- To prepare students for postsecondary courses and programs.
- To help students learn English so they may function more effectively at work, at home and in the community.
ESL students learn in a variety of ways: group, individualized, computer-assisted language learning, Weekend College and online. A student may choose courses in oral language development, vocabulary improvement, reading and writing skills, pre-employment English, and computer skills. They can also get help in preparing for citizenship. Outreach programs for business and industry are available as well.
