This program does not have a waitlist. Students are admitted through a petition process. Please read all information through the links on the right.
A criterion considered in the petition process is verification of student residency. Students selected via the petition process are chosen based on MATC district residency, then Wisconsin nondistrict residency, followed by nonresidents, unless otherwise stated.
Assistance with petition packet paperwork will not be provided once petition windows have opened.

Fall 2012 - Spring 2013 Course Requirements
In just two semesters, the Practical Nursing program exposes you to a variety of classroom and clinical experiences to prepare you for employment in nursing homes, hospitals and other health care settings. The curriculum features a variety of teaching/learning methods, hands-on skills practice in the college’s well-equipped nursing laboratory, and supervised patient care in nursing homes and hospitals. Upon completion of this National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission accredited program, you will be eligible to take the Licensure Exam for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN).
