Paralegal Certificate

Business and Information Technology Division, Milwaukee Campus

Four required courses provide the foundation for a paralegal career, including research, legal writing and civil procedure. Electives allow you to focus on specific areas of law. This certificate is designed for students who already have completed a bachelor's degree. The Paralegal Certificate program is approved by the American Bar Association (ABA), and students who receive the certificate are required to work under the supervision of an attorney, to avoid the unauthorized practice of law.

All credits in this certificate must be earned at MATC with a 2.0 GPA or better. The student must initiate the request for the certificate upon completion of requirements.
