Pharmacy Technician Technical Diploma
Health Occupations Division, Downtown Milwaukee Campus
The Pharmacy Technician program provides you with skills including the preparation of sterile products and prescribed drugs, and the knowledge needed in business and institutional settings. This flexible program covers two semesters and may be taken on a part-time basis. Core skills include mathematics including elementary algebra, conscientious work habits and good interpersonal skills. Due to a shortage of registered pharmacists, changes in the medication delivery system, and the aging population, there is a steady need for trained pharmacy technicians.
