MATC's Funeral Service program prepares you for a career as a licensed funeral director and embalmer. A one-year apprenticeship must be served before or after enrolling in the program. The curriculum provides instruction in fully equipped on campus laboratories and role-playing experiences to develop skills in the preparation, merchandising and conducting of funerals. An internship is a required component of the program. The demand is high for licensed funeral directors and embalmers. For additional career information, visit www.wfda.org or www.nfda.org.
