The Environmental and Pollution Control Technology degree program focuses on environmental safety and pollution control. Government agencies, health departments and industry employ environmental health and pollution control technicians. Typical job titles are environmental laboratory technician, environmental specialist, food safety specialist, HAZMAT specialist and environmental sanitarian. Core skills include an interest in technical and scientific study, the ability to work precisely and follow directions, and effective interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
