The Electronic Engineering Technology program prepares you for professional positions in the field of electronics. The degree program helps you develop the skills for engineering support and high-tech electronic industry environments, as well as for entry into high-tech electronic industries. Electronic Engineering Technicians find employment in many areas of business and government due to the increased use of computer controlled systems. These technicians, who assist engineers, scientists and others, represent one of the fastest growing segments of the workforce. Typical positions include research and development (R&D) technician, technical representative, quality control technician, repair/installation technician and production assistant/supervisor. Core skills include interests in mathematics, science and electronic equipment; normal vision and good manual dexterity.
