Detailed Program Information:
Fall 2012 - Spring 2013 Course Requirements

Dental Technicians fabricate dental restorations, including metal and ceramic crowns and bridges and complete dentures. During the two-semester, 18-credit program, students acquire hands-on experience in a well-equipped on-campus dental lab. The job outlook for dental technicians is strong; many move up to become department supervisors, laboratory managers and laboratory owners. Dental technicians also find employment as sales or manufacturers' representatives. Core skills include good hand/eye coordination, manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently.
