Criminal Justice -- Law Enforcement Certificate

Prior approval from the Criminal Justice - Law Enforcement Department is required before enrolling in this certificate program. You must possess a valid driver's license, and must legally be able to handle firearms. The seven courses (17 credits) in the Law Enforcement certificate include OMVWI/Standard Field Sobriety Test, Professional Communications, Vehicle Contacts, First Responder/Hazardous Materials, Care and Use of Firearms, Defensive Tactics, and Operation of Patrol Vehicles.

All credits in this certificate must be earned at MATC with a 2.0 GPA or better. The student must initiate the request for the certificate upon completion of requirements by contacting the Criminal Justice -- Law Enforcement Department at 414-571-4706.
