The Land Surveying certificate offered by MATC, in conjunction with an associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology, meets the land surveyor registration educational requirements as defined in Chapter A-E 7 of the Wisconsin Administrative Code. Students interested in a career in Land Surveying should obtain this advanced certificate along with an associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology.

The MATC Civil Engineering Technology program and its land surveying courses are approved by the Land Surveyor Section of the Wisconsin Examining Board of Architects, Professional Engineers, Designers, and Professional Land Surveyors.

All credits must be earned at MATC with a 2.0 cumulative GPA or higher. Upon completion of the certificates's requirements, the student's transcript is notated with the credential earned.

Some certificates can be earned while completing associate degrees and/or technical diplomas that are eligible for financial aid. Certificate programs alone are not eligible for financial aid; consult an MATC advisor for information.
