Public focus groups to solicit feedback on draft of the presidential profile (Construct structured meeting with faculty, staff, students, administrators, business leaders and community representatives). Host one public open forum to obtain additional feedback on the draft of the presidential profile.

September 22, 2009:

Board of Directors meeting
Board to discuss feedback from focus groups and open forum; finalize presidential profile.

Monday, November 2, 2009:

Early November 2009:

District Board to review applications. Deliberation and selection of semifinalists.

Mid-November 2009:

District Board interviews semifinalists. Deliberation and selection of finalists.

Mid-December 2009:

District Board interviews final candidates.
Final candidates visit MATC and participate in public forums at each campus.

December 2009:

Optional: Directors to visit #1 candidate's institution

December 2009 - January 2010

Board of Directors to select president

January - February 2010:

Anticipated start date for next president of MATC
