You will be introduced to the range of opportunities in this field: design of print- and computer-generated graphics for books, technical manuals, newspapers, magazines, web applications and advertising/marketing materials; and additional design applications for promotional pieces, point-of-purchase, packaging and outdoor advertising.
Career Outlook: Today’s digital world reduces the geographic limits for finding clients, which expands work opportunities for graphic designers. Employers include advertising agencies, corporations and nonprofit groups.
Career Pathway: You can earn the Production Artist technical diploma on your way to completing this associate degree.
