Advanced Television Post-Production

Downtown Milwaukee Campus

Gain the skills to upgrade editing techniques through time-code, computer-based edit control systems and non-linear AVID editors. Techniques and practice include split editing, list management, setting transitions, edit/review, EDL management, NLE settings, timeline manipulations, and file/media management. Coursework is conducted in the Milwaukee PBS production facilities for hands-on experience.

Start Dates: August/January

Special Admission Requirements: Completion of an associate degree in Television and Video Production, a bachelor's degree in the video field, or equivalent work experience as evaluated by the School of Media and Creative Arts.
