MATC to Host Free Laboratory Techniques in Biochemical Research Workshop for High School Students July 13-23
MATC will host two free summer workshops in biotechnology and chemical technology for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors. The workshops will be held Mondays through Thursdays on MATC’s Downtown Milwaukee from July 13-23. The daily session will run from 9 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
The workshop is ideal for high school students who are:
- Fascinated by biotechnology, chemistry or biochemical science
- Inquisitive and a hands-on learner
- Interested in using state-of-the-art laboratory equipment to conduct experiments
Attendees will conduct biotechnology and chemical technology experiments and tour various lab facilities. Students who complete the workshop will be eligible to earn one college credit. Free daily lunch and Milwaukee County Transit System bus passes will be provided to attendees.
