MILWAUKEE - Three students from Milwaukee Area Technical College’s Biotechnology associate degree program have been selected to present their research at the 2012 National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) March 29-31 in Ogden, Utah.
Samuel Thompson will present “HAC1 Over-Expression in Yeast” during oral sessions. Jennifer Creekmur will present “Evaluation of Rapid Bacteriological Analytical Methods for Use as Fecal Indicators of Beach Contamination” during the poster sessions. Anastasia Bhagat’s work “Comparison of Four Rat Models in Diabetes and Renal Failure Research” will be a part of the poster sessions.
NCUR promotes undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity in all fields of study. The annual conference gives undergraduate scholars in all fields and from all types of institutions of higher learning a forum to share the results of their work through posters, presentations, performances and works of art.
