Ask A Librarian Reference E-mail
- Click on the link above to ask a question of our library staff.
- In the "Select the area of your question:" menu, choose Library.
- Fill out the required fields, and click the "Send" button.
- A librarian will return your message within 24 hours when school is in session.
Library Reference Desk Service
MATC campus libraries offer Reference desk service where librarians work with individuals and class groups to answer library related questions and provide instruction on locating information within the library. By using the services of one of the MATC Reference librarians, patrons can:
- Obtain information about the library and its collection.
- Receive assistance in using one of the library's networked computer databases.
- Receive assistance in finding information in any of the library's print resources.
- Set up a general Library Orientation for a class.
- Develop a Library Instruction class that covers the use of print and electronic resources from a specific subject area.
- Request that library materials be sent from another MATC campus library or through Interlibrary Loan.
- Place a formal request for a new item to be purchased by the library.
All MATC students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to contact a Reference librarian during regular library hours. To e-mail a question, select the Ask Us option above.
