The Associate in Science degree in Biotechnology explores the history of molecular biology, current applications in biotechnology, and teaches students basic and advanced molecular biology laboratory techniques and practices.
In the program, students will learn practical skills to work with nucleic acids (DNA and RNA) and proteins. The state-of-the-art teaching methods with the laboratory experience will prepare students to further their careers and education in biotechnology.
Students who plan to transfer should consult with the four-year college/university regarding specific requirements for a major and credit transfer.
