Anesthesia Technology

ASSOCIATE DEGREE

Downtown Milwaukee Campus

To become a member of a surgical setting’s anesthesia team, you will learn the theoretical concepts and clinical applications in MATC’s on-campus surgical suite. Then you will be assigned to hospitals as part of the program’s clinical phase.

Career Outlook: Anticipated growth in demand for anesthesia technologists is attributed to the increasing geriatric population and the healthcare industry’s need for medical support personnel. In addition to employment in surgical centers, opportunities exist in medical equipment sales.
