Your Contribution Makes a Positive Difference
The Milwaukee Area Technical College Foundation, Inc. plays an increasingly important role in the development and success of MATC students and the community.
About two-thirds of MATC students receive financial aid, scholarships and/or grants. Without this assistance, many MATC students would not be able to afford an MATC college education. In 2008-09, the Foundation awarded 267 scholarships to MATC students totaling nearly $200,000.
Annual Gift Categories
The MATC Foundation recognizes the generous contributions of our donors into various gift categories.
MATC Foundation's President's Society for Lifetime Giving
Individual donors whose gifts total $50,000 or more, over their lifetime of giving, are provided permanent recognition as members in this gift society. Corporate and Foundation donors enter the President's Society when their lifetime giving total reaches $100,000.

Gifts In Kind
Donated equipment and services lend vital support to teaching, learning and research in every training program at MATC. Employers and the college have a compelling mutual interest in exposing students to industry-standard technology. In-kind giving makes that possible and allows us to remain relevant as a technical college. In-kind donations also offer tax benefits to donors. Build-A-Fund Program
Donors who wish to create a scholarship fund are encouraged to participate in the Build-A-Fund Program. This gift program allows donors to build their scholarship fund to the required minimum level of $3,000 over a three year time period. Donors who wish to establish an endowment fund are given three years to reach the $3,000 minimum fund balance.
