Welcome to Milwaukee Area Technical College's Center for Energy Conservation and Advanced Manufacturing (ECAM). The $9 million, 34,000 square-foot applied technology center opened in 2007 and is located at the college's Oak Creek Campus. ECAM was designed to answer the increasing challenges facing manufacturers in southeastern Wisconsin.
ECAM is home to a multitude of educational and training opportunities and features six learning laboratories in these specialty areas: advanced manufacturing, manufacturing welding, advanced software, energy solutions, HVAC digital controls and HVAC computers.
The HVAC laboratory at ECAM was named a national training and certifying facility for Testing Adjusting and Balancing Bureau (TABB) and National Energy Management Institute (NEMI) contractors and technicians in 2011.
