Exactly like a next-generation factory, ECAM has a central nervous system that ties together the entire facility, from production tools to energy systems. The Advanced Software Applications Lab supports all ECAM learning activities.

Learners range from high school pupils, to advanced MATC program students, to journeypersons and other incumbent workers. The Advanced Software Applications Lab also works directly with manufacturers and other technology businesses.
