Downtown Milwaukee Campus Health Education Center

Prepare for a career performing the essential functions of healthcare administration. Coursework includes medical insurance terminology, efficient office practices, and basic human anatomy. Courses are offered in a blended format, which may include classroom instruction and an online component.

Classes are taught at the Downtown Milwaukee Campus Health Education Center (HEC), 1311 North Sixth Street.

Career Outlook: Employment opportunities in medical billing are strong. In addition to healthcare facilities, medical billers also work in medical schools and government agencies. 

Career Pathway: After you earn this technical diploma, the credits can be applied toward completing the Medical Administrative Specialist associate degree.
