Food Service Assistant

Students will learn how to prepare and cook-to-order a variety of foods that require a short preparation time. The program focuses on developing skills to begin a career in the food-service industry.
Career Outlook: Program graduates will have entry-level skills for taking orders and serving patrons, and performing a variety of food preparation duties required in the food-service industry.
Career Pathway: After completing this technical diploma, the credits can be applied toward earning the Culinary Arts associate degree.
