Health and Dental Insurance Open Enrollment for 2005
The annual cost of insuring the college's covered employees, retirees, and dependents for medical and dental insurance is projected to increase by double digits once again from calendar year 2004 to calendar year 2005. However, this year, we were able to achieve 18-month contracts with Humana for all three of our health plans and our dental plans. Therefore, the selection you make will be in place until June 30, 2006.
Each autumn brings an open enrollment period when you can choose certain medical and dental plan options. The same three Humana medical plans and two dental plans (one plan for part-time employees) that were available to you in 2004 will be available in 2005. If you wish to change your coverage under one or more of these plans, you must act before November 24 if you are a full-time employee and before December 3 if you are a part-time employee or retiree.
