MATC Retirees Leave a Rich Legacy
I congratulate and thank the 50 MATC faculty and staff who retired in 2006-07. They have enriched countless students. The new retirees include two longtime teachers who became senior college leaders.

On June 29, Provost Jim Walsh ends a 32-year career at MATC, along with Dr. Karen Zwissler, dean of Business and Information Technology, completing a 34-year career with us. In this special summer edition of Communique, we look back at their accomplishments and wish them well.

You'll also read about an amazing student project at the new Discovery World, along with a report on our inspiring spring commencement on May 19. Congratulations to the 1,700 newest MATC alumni. We expect great things from you.
